T." HEBBLETHWAITE Graveside services for John Thomas "J. T." Hebblethwaite, 66, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairlawn Cemetery, with David Woods officiating. John Thomas Hebblethwaite was born October 27, 1936, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Alfonzo John Hebblethwaite and Lena Gray Hebblethwaite. He died Saturday, January 25, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. J. T. grew up in Chickasha attending Chickasha Public Schools, he later joined the United States Marine Corps. After receiving an honorable medical discharge from the Marines, he married Norma Johnson in Chickasha on June 9, 1956. He was earlier employed with various Chickasha area horse trailer companies, Arkla Gas, and drive a wrecker for Russ Moody. Then he opened and operated his own trucking company in Chickasha, retiring in 1987. J. T. enjoyed talking on the CB radio, fishing, tinkering, and traveling. He was preceded in death by both parents. Survivors include his wife, Norma of the home; daughter and son-in- law, Pamela and Stuart Callison of Houston, Texas; and sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Georgianne Hebblethwaite, David and Teresa Hebblethwaite; and daughter Laurie Burt all of Chickasha; two grandchildren, Nicholas Burt and Nathan Keel; five chosen grandchildren, Shannon Dunn, Lisa Furra, Todd Furra, Wendy Taylor and Katy Robertson; and six great grandchildren.
