Mary Francis Hubbard was born Nov. 28, 1914, and died on Monday, Nov. 3, 2003. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 5 November 2003 MARY FRANCIS HUBBARD Funeral service for Mary Francis Hubbard, 88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 8, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Mary Francis Hubbard was born November 28, 1914, in Eddy, Texas, the daughter of Earl and Ida (Ammons) Johnson, and died November 3, 2003, in Noble, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hubbard lived in the Chickasha area since 1963. She worked as a sales clerk at McClellans in downtown Chickasha and Roe's Cafe. She moved to Noble in 1996. She and Elmo Hubbard were married August 31, 1932. He preceded her in death August 19, 1989. She loved to cook and entertain and enjoyed sewing and quilting. Mrs. Hubbard quilted pillows for people in the nursing homes. She also loved music and playing the piano and working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Mrs. Hubbard attended the Alex Main Street Church of Christ, the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha, and the Noble Church of Christ. Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives: Ed and Jewell Hubbard of Medford, Oregon, Dean and Deeanna Hubbard of Hulbert, Oklahoma; 2 daughters and their husbands: Joyce and Chick Kemp of Yuma, Arizona, Dianne and Lee Gray of Noble, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
