Keith Wayne Heck was born February 9, 1949, in Ada, Oklahoma. He died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 in Oklahoma City. Interment will be in the Centrahoma Cemetery, in Centrahoma, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star Thursday, 23 June 2005 KEITH WAYNE HECK Funeral services for Keith Wayne Heck, 56, of Chickasha, will be held Friday, June 24, 2005, at 10:00 A.M., in the Epworth United Methodist Church with Larry Jacobson and Kim Domnick officiating. Keith Wayne Heck was born February 9, 1949, in Ada, Oklahoma, the son of Odie L. Heck and Effie Thornton Heck. He died Wednesay, June 22, 2005 in Oklahoma City. Keith grew up in Centralhoma, Oklahoma, near Coalgate, and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1967. After high school graduation, Keith attended and graduated from East Central College in Ada, Oklahoma, with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Education. He married Lynn Edwards in Lindsay, Oklahoma, on September 6, 1969. Keith had taught school and coached at Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Coalgate, Oklahoma and Mexia, Texas. He entered the Oklahoma University Law School in Norman, in 1979 and graduated with his Law Degree in 1982. After graduation he moved to Rush Springs, Oklahoma, where he began his Law Practice. In 1982, he moved to Chickasha, where he was currently a practicing Attorney in his own private practice. Keith was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, the Chickasha Lion Clubs, the Gideon's, the Methodist Men's Club and the Great Plans Emmaus Community. Keith was a devoted husband, father and an extremely doting grandfather. He was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Cleatus Heck and Burtus "Nub" Heck, one sister, Melba Evans and one infant son, Kevin Wayne Heck. Survivors include his wife, Lynn, of the home; two daughters and sons-in- law, Kerry and Brad Mott, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kacey and Justin Wallace, of Durant, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Sherry Heck, of Centrahoma; one sister and brother-in-law Ima June and Jim Newton, of Waco, Texas, his grandchildren, Matthew Mott and Jordan Wallace; his father-in-law and mother in-law, Wesley and Lorraine Edwards, of Lindsay; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Linda Edwards, of Davis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Brent Clements, of Norman and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Grady County Bar Association, in Keith's name at P.O. Box 968, Chickasha, Oklahoma, 73023 or to the Life Share Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma, 5801 North Broadway, Suite 300, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73118 or to the Ameriucan Cancer Society, 8400 Silver Crossing, Suite 8, Oklahoma City, OK, 73132 or to their favorite charity. The casket will be open at the funeral home and at the church before the service but closed after the service.
