FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ROBERT HACKER Funeral services were held Saturday, February 16 in the Friendship Methodist Church at 2PM for Robert Hacker. Rev. Doc Ramsey officiated, assisted by Rev. J. J. McDaniel. Music was furnished by a male quartet composed of William Cobb, Marvin Koerner, Guy Bush, Gerald Taylor, accompanied by Mrs. Ruth Malcom at the piano. Their selections were "Rock of Ages", "Sweet Hour of Prayer", and "Precious Memories". Pallbearers were Marvin Watson, Floyd Seals, Virgil Gentry, Albert Yoder, Fred Yoder, and Thad Jones. Robert Hacker was born September 7, 1895 in Georgetown, Texas. He passed away at 2:20PM February 13 in the Veterans Hospital, Oklahoma City at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 6 days from third degree burns he received in an accidental explosion at his home on December 3, 1962. He was married to Margie Johnson in 1931. To this union was born 12 children. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Margie of the home. Seven daughters: Gayle and Myrna of the home, Mrs. Elbert Chester, Mrs. Cliffa Jean Karnes, Mrs. Gillis Eades, Miss Rosemary Hacker all of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Robert Heiliger of Carrie, Oklahoma. Five sons: Jackie of the home, Earl of Oklahoma City, Garrett of Lubbock, Texas, Lester of Garland, Texas, Robert Reese of Hawkinsville, Georgia. Three brothers: Hubert of New Mexico, B. F. of Sallisaw, and Irwin of Minco. Six sisters: Mrs. Lillie Busby of New Mexico, Mrs. Sallie Yoder of Bethany, Oklahoma, Bertie May Gillis of Glendale, Arizona, Mrs. Tennie Dutton of Marlow, Mrs. Lola Horn of Minco, Mrs. Bessie Patrick. Fifteen grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
