OBITUARY Again the silver cord of life is broken and another loved one has passed the way all must go. The final summons for Mrs. Robert Hacker came Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock, at the family residence. Nature endowed her with a beautiful character, generosity and sympathy being outstanding traits. Her devotion to her husband and son, her love for her friends and cheery attitude toward everyone, made her a pleasant companion. Her husband and little son were with her constantly during her illness. Isabell Downey, daughter of Will and Lizzie Downey, born at Dutton, Oklahoma, on April 10, 1907 and departed this life on November 20, 1930, age 23 years, 7 months, and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Robert Hacker on October 23, 1928. Besides her husband, she leaves a little six- year-old son, Jimmy Torrence, by a former marriage; two sisters, Frances and Mary Barnes; a number of uncles, aunts and cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Impressive funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Friendship Church with Rev. W. W. Martin officiating. Mrs. F. DuBois sand on request "Beautiful Beckoning Hands." She was laid to rest in the Friendship Cemetery beside her mother, who preceded her in death over 2 years. The pallbearers were long time friends of the deceased: Gordon Golee, Albert and Adolph Handke, Roy Nicholas, Floyd Seals, and Clyde Jensen. Many long time friends and neighbors came to pay their respect and the beautiful floral tributes were further expressions of regards. "She is not dead, she does not sleep; but wandering on a little way. She sound the gates of Paradise ajar and stepped inside to wait."
