Mrs. Lela Marie Mead 


Funeral service for Lela Marie Mead,76, of Chickasha, will be at 3:30pm 
Wednesday at the Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Mead was born April 
19, 1901 in Parker County Texas. She died Sunday in Grady Memorial Hospital. 
Mrs. Mead was a member of the Michigan Ave. Baptist Church. She was 
preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Jane Mead, in 1942. Survivers 
include four daughters, Lela Bell Eggleaton of Ft. Worth, Texas;Betty 
Douglas of Del City Oklahoma; Lois Rominez of Amarillo Texas; Sue Blair 
of Washington Oklahoma; four sons Billy and Arthur of Arizona; Walter 
and Joe of Chickasha; three sisters, Bonnie Payne of Las Vegas,Hassie
Tucker of Las Vegas Navada,and Mrs. Clyde Ratliff of Chickasha;and
two brothers, the Rev.Paul Wilkinson of Bethany and Troy Wilkinson 
of Chickasha.

Interment will be in Rose Hill under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
