Cause of death being tuberculosis. He lived near Verden for a number of years before going west for the benefit of his health. He was also a member of the Verden Masonic Lodge. The remains arrived in Verden Monday, accompanied by his wife and relatives and a number of friends who met the party at El Reno. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. P. T. McWhorter and the body laid to rest in the Silent City on the hill amid a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.
