All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Tuttle Times October 1957 Mrs. Hattie Hutchison Dies Suddenly Friends were very surprised to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Hattie Hutchison,72, who died at 12:45p.m. Tuesday October 1 in Bowers Grocery Store of a heart attack. She had gone to town for groceries. She said, "It sure is hot today" and sat down and died very suddenly. No one was in the store at the time except the two persons. Mrs. Hutchison come to Tuttle in 1924 with her husband and family from Montague County, Texas. Her husband(James Oscar) died several years ago. Mrs. Hutchison has lived in the Tuttle vicinity for 33 years. she lived alone in the west part of town. She was a member of the Tuttle First Baptist Church. Survivors are four sons L. A. Hutchison,Tuttle,Aubrey Hutchison,Amber and Marvin Hutchison,Britton.Five daughters Mrs. Ruby Garrison,Amber, Mrs. Lizzie Travis, Oklahoma City,Mrs Minnie Irvin,Lawton,Mrs Effie Williams, Carnigie, and Doca Ashford, Wichita Falls,Texas. (The obit says she had 5 daughters but she only had two Ruby and Lizzy the others are her sisters) Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of the Sowers Funeral Home.
