Persons or organizations desiring to use this material for purposes other than stated above must obtain the written consent of the file contributor. ====================================================================== The Verden News July 29, 1910 Miss Maude Hadley, aged 28, daughter of Mr. Hadley living five miles northeast of Verden, died at her home last Wednesday, July 20, after suffering with tuberculosis since last December. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the home of the deceased, Rev. Wilson of Chickasha conducting the services, after which the remains were interred in the Verden cemetery , quite a large number of friends and relatives being present. Miss Hadley came to Oklahoma from Indiana about a year and a half ago, with her father, since which time they have been living near Verden. The News joins the many relatives and friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. Submitted by Sandi Carter
