Alvin Lee Hall was born April 15, 1926, in Minco, Oklahoma. He was the son of Bill and Erma (Newberry) Hall. He died Tuesday, January 7, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Mr. Hall had lived in Chickasha most of his life. He had worked for Jamestown Housing in Oklahoma City. He returned to Chickasha in 1981. Mr. Hall served in the armed forces in WWII and Korea. He and Billie Emeline Hall were married September 22, 1957, in Chickasha. She preceded him in death on October 18, 1986. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Ernie, Bob and Don Hall. Survivors include: one daughter, JoAnn Hall of Chickasha; one son, James Hall and wife Mary of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters: Sylvia Chaney and husband Felix of Chickasha, Bette Hensley and husband Jearld of Tuttle; two brothers: William Hall and wife Florene of Blanchard, Butch Hall and wife Fay of Chickasha. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
