Halverson 09-Jul-1988 Funeral for Robert E. (Punk) Halverson, 56, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 1988, in the Hazel Dell Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Jones and Rev. Bob Waitman officiating. He was born July 8, 1932 in Canadian County, the son of Earl Halverson and Joyce D. Jester Meyers, and died Saturday, July 9, 1988 at his home in Minco. He has lived in Minco all of his life, farming west of Minco and working for Dale Cooksey. He was a Baptist. Survivors include one son, Duke Halverson of Minco; one daughter Candy Halverson of Minco; three brothers, Tommy Meyers of Tuttle, Danny Meyers of Newcastle, James (Junior) Goodman of Stillwater; four sisters, Ann White of Hinton, Judy Hawkins of Oklahoma City, Dora Stone of Ardmore, and Freddie Lane of Iowa; his former wife, Gladys Halverson of Minco. Burial will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco.
