Pauline Hannah was born Jan. 27, 1909, in Creek County, Okla., and died on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, in Tulsa, Okla. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 2 September 2004 PAULINE HANNAH Graveside services for Pauline Hannah, 95, of Tulsa, will be held Friday, September 3, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., in the Memorial Park Cemetery in OKlahoma City, Oklahoma. Pauline Watson was born January 27, 1909, in Milfay, Oklahoma, the daughter of Theodore Watson and Emma DeMoss Watson. She died Tuesday, August 31, 2004, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pauline grew up in the Milfay, Oklahoma, area and graduated from Edmond High School in 1925. She attended college at Central State University, obtaining her teaching degree. Later she continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, getting her master’s degree in social services. Pauline married Lawrence Hannah on December 25, 1928, in Edmond, Oklahoma. They were married 66 wonderful years and lived their adult lives in Edmond. She worked as a school teacher and in social services until her retirement. After she retired, she enjoyed volunteering at the Edmond Hospital, and knitting caps for the children there. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond, where she had served as an elder and deacon. Pauline was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Lawrence, one brother, Leon Watson, and one sister, Cozzette Watson. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Molly Hannah, of Philomath, Oregon; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Charles Gibson, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Gigi Batchelder, of Big Fork, Montana, Libby Linam, of Marlow, Oklahoma, and Laura Hannah, of Fort Collins, Colorado; two grandsons, Charles Gibson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Phillip Hannah, of Mason, Ohio; two sisters, Lorene Junker of Las Vegas, Nevada and Betty Watson, of Enmmclau, Washington; two brothers, Ray Watson, of Montrose, Colorado, and Robert Watson, of Cedar Ridge, Colorado; and four great grandsons.
