All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 January 2004 MARY HEDGER HAMPTON Graveside service for Mary Hedger Hampton, 83, of Abilene, Texas, former Chickasha resident, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2004, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha. Mary Hedger Hampton was born June 22, 1920, in Naples, Oklahoma, and died January 11, 2004, in Abilene, Texas. Mrs. Hampton lived most of her life in Chickasha. She had lived the past six months in Abilene. She and Truman David Hedger were married, and he preceded her in death. She later married Max Hampton, and he also preceded her in death. Mrs. Hampton was a school teacher in Chickasha. She was a member of the Naples Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Hampton was also preceded in death by : 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives: Marshall Van Wilkes and wife, Rose, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Ronnie Wilkes and wife, Vivian, of Abilene, Texas; 1 sister, Nadine Wendling of Chickasha; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 3 nephews.
