All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK The Chickasha Express-Star 29 July 2002 OLETA [SIZEMORE] HENSLEY Funeral service for Oleta (Sizemore) Hensley, 70, of Amber, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Oleta (Sizemore) Hensley was born July 18, 1937, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Franklin and Minerva Jane (Townley) Goen, and died July 27, 2002, in her home in Amber, Oklahoma, after a brief bought with cancer. She married Thurman (Bill) Sizemore on March 8, 1958, in Chickasha. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1991. She later married John Hensley on December 30, 1998. Mrs. Hensley was a long time resident of Chickasha, Rush Springs and Amber. She was a devoted mother and wife. She worked for 20 years for the Postal Service and delivered the star route, was a Chickasha school bus driver and worked for the Amber-Pocasset Co-op Children with Special Needs. Mrs. Hensley was a member of the 9th and Colorado Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by: mother: Minerva (Townley) Goen; father: Thomas Franklin Goen; 2 sisters: Ruby May Edzards and Mary Beatrice Jacobson; 1 brother: Thomas James Goen. Survivors include: Husband: John Hensley; 2 sons and their wives: Bill and Kim Sizemore of Edmond, OK and Mickey and Regina Sizemore of Fayetteville, N. C.; 1 daughter and her husband: JoAnna and Eddie Goff of Peru, South America; 1 daughter-in-law: Vickey Sizemore of Chandler, Oklahoma; 1 brother-in-law: Russell Jacobson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 9 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
