Hinkle, 70, were held Saturday afternoon in the First Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jim Robertson, officiating . She was born Nov. 29, 1889 in Duffield, Virginia and passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 22, 1960 in the Grady Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack. She was married to Hiram G. Hinkle April 14, 1907 in Duffield, Virginia and the couple moved to Verden in 1910. Mr. Hinkle preceded her in death in 1948. Mrs. Hinkle was a member of the Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Claire Taylor, Mrs. Avada Marie Horn, and Mrs. Bonnie Zolene Bitsche, all of Chickasha and three sons, Harold M. Hinkle of Toledo, Oregon, Elmer L. Hinkle of Verden, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Oren Hall of Verden and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Hartsock of Duffield, Virginia. Casket bearers were her grandsons, Kenneth Hinkle, Robert Hinkle, William Horn, Bobby Horn, Earnest Gardner and Marvin O.Neal. A quartet composed of Mrs. Dale Henricks, Mrs. Don Lair, Mrs. Jim Robertson, and Mrs. Aubrey Finley sang "Sweet Bye and Bye," "Beautiful Isle" and "Beyond the Sunset," accompanied by Mrs. Don Brown.
