Brian Patrick Hankins was born March 23, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Robert L. and Susan Ann (Friedlan) Hankins, Jr. He died Saturday, August 10, 2002, near Tuttle. He moved from Corpus Christi to Norman, Oklahoma, and then to Chickasha, in 1978. He graduated from Chickasha High School and attended Northeastern at Miami, Oklahoma, Oklahoma Christian, at Edmond, Oklahoma, and USAO of Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was a member of the baseball team at OCCC and USAO. He had worked at Baity Screw Machine, and was currently working at Delta Faucet, where he was a machinist. Survivors include: his wife, Lizzie Hankins, of the home; one son, Robert Eric Hankins, of the home; two stepchildren, Angie and Justin, of the home; his parents, Bob and Susan Hankins, of Chickasha; one brother, Doug Hankins, of Chickasha; one nephew, Kyle Hankins, of Chickasha; nieces, Jamie and Stephanie Hankins, of Chickasha; two uncles, Ray and Pat Friedlan, of Chickasha, and Joe Friedlan, of Ft. Worth, Texas; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
