I. Walton, Jr., officiating. Ophelia Henderson was born to the late Rev. and Mrs. General Henderson in Clarksville, TX, March 6, 1909, and passed away March 8, 2003, in Chickasha. She attended elementary and high school in Clarksville, TX, and was valedictorian of her high school class. She was baptized in Clarksville, TX. at a very young age. Upon moving to Chickasha, she joined the First Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Gentry. Sister Henderson served as a member of the choir, kitchen committee and circle #1, and she remained active until her health failed. Diligently, Sister Henderson worked in the Chickasha High School Cafeteria, did catering service and was a domestic worker for a number of families including the late Jesse Dearing Kinley. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter: Ruby J.
