(BUGS) HAMILTON Funeral services for Alice G. (Bugs) Hamilton, 82, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Chickasha, will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral home Chapel with Reverend Esten Leonard officiating. Alice G. Hamilton was born September 26, 1921, in Waxahachie, Texas, the daughter of Henry Ellis and Barbara Gardner Ellis. She died Sunday, November 23, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Alice and her husband Rayburn (Doc) Hamilton moved to Chickasha in 1956 for several years, then moved on, only to come back to retire in 1978. She had worked at Badgetts, Risner's Jewelry, Maremont, and was a Walmart Door Greeter as a senior citizen, before moving to Oklahoma City in 2001, because of health reasons. Alice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chickasha and a Cancer Survivor group at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Rayburn (Doc) Hamilton in October 1981, a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sondra Hamilton in April of 1973, one brother and five sisters. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dwain Whitener, of Oklahoma City, Sandra and Bill Hiatt, of Luther; grandchildren Mark and Judy Whitener, of Oklahoma City, Rayna Whitener and Sheila Wampler, of Oklahoma City, Kanda and Tony Vince of Ohio, Eric Burkes of Oklahoma City, Billy and Keri Hiatt of Yukon, and Amy Hiatt, of Texas; ten great grandchildren who will remember her as their Nana with a twinkle in her eye and a smile. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
