Hammond, 65, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Johnson officiating. Anita Joyce Hammond died Friday evening, July 19, 2002, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX. She was 65. Anita was born June 12, 1937, in Ravenna, Texas, to Tom McEuen and Gladys Hyatt McEuen. She married Gene Hammond in Oklahoma City, Anita was a member of the Called Out Full Gospel Church and enjoyed singing at church and fishing. She is preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her father: Tom McEuen of Denison, TX; son: Jeff Rivers of Chickasha; two daughters: Anita Kyees and her husband Mark of OKC, Sharron Brown and her husband Randy of Columbus, Mississippi; two brothers: Bill McEuen of California and Gary McEuen of Texas; four sisters: Linda Lenard of Garden City, Kansas, Dean Blackerby ofv Randolph, TX, JoAnn Perkins of Houston, TX, and Theresa Howery of Bonham, TX; three grandchildren, and one great granddaughter; and a very special friend, Bud Mitchell. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
