B. HENRY SERVICES HELD FRIDAY, AUGUST 3 Funeral services for Jefferson B. Henry, 84, will be conducted this afternoon, August 3, at 2:00 at the Baptist church with Rev. P. P. Harmon officiating. Interment will be in the Verden cemetery with the Hansen Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. OBITUARY Our father, Jefferson B. Henry, the son of Benjamin Charles Henry and Mary Henry was born January 21, 1861, in Grant County, Arkansas, and passed away at the home of his son, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Henry, August 2nd, at 12:40 a.m., 1945, at the age of 84 years, six months, and twelve days. He was joined in Holy matrimony to Sarah Ann Sawyer at the Old Camp Ground in Grant County, Arkansas, in 1883 and to them was born ten children. The mother and three children have gone on before. Leaving to mourn his departure are six sons, Emmett, Martin, Ben, Albert, Pat, and Walter, all of Verden, Okla., and one daughter, Mrs. Belle Evans, Chickasha, Okla., 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; one brother, A. A. Henry, age 87, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Evans, age 82, both of Grant County, Arkansas, and a host of friends and neighbors. He was of the strongest faith in God and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
