R. Elder, Saturday and was layed to rest in the City Cemetery Wednesday. She had been a long and patient sufferer from tuberculosis and while her demise has brought sorrow to her loved ones, death has released her from pain. She was born in Missouri and came here with her father at the opening of the country at a very early age, here she grew to young womanhood and was married to Dee Hamrick, a prosperious young farmer four miles southwest of town. To this union was born two children, a boy and a girl. She is survived beside her husband and children, [by] a father three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Hamrick accepted Christ early in life and lived a constant Christian until called to her heavenly home. She was a faithful wife and loving mother and beloved by all who knew her. To her loved ones who mourn we extend our most sincere sympathy. Submitted by Sandi Carter
