Rev. Micky Stover officiated. Tom Lee Harris was born on January 10, 1904, in Altus, Oklahoma, the son of Mary Matilda and Robert Tillman Harris. He died on Thursday, August 2, 2001, at his home in Cement. Tom moved to Cement in 1909 and had lived there most of his life. He worked in road construction for several years and worked in the oil business servicing oil wells. Tom later began farming. He built his current home in Cement where he and his family have lived for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters, his wife, Alma Harris, in 1979, and one daughter, Louella Maxine Rodgers. Survivors include daughter, Grace Stacy of Claude, Texas; daughter, Tomie Lynch of Lawton; daughter, Catherine Harris of Cement; sister, Lena Young of Pasadena, California; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Service was under the direction of the McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.
