Johnny Tims, pastor of First Baptist Church in Chickasha, officiating. She passed away peacefully from this life on May 10, 2004, in Chickasha after a long bout with dementia. Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher. Bonnie Bernice Brown was born on July 14, 1922, near Rush Springs. Her parents were Jess H. and Edna (Hicks) Brown. She grew up in Grady County graduating from Fairview High School in 1940. She married Finis Harrison on July 12, 1941, in Chickasha. They were married for 60 years at the time of his death in February 2002. Bonnie worked at several places in Chickasha, retiring from Washita Valley Community Action Council in 1993. She loved to read and brag about her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Dr. Keith and Darleen Harrison of Chickasha, Sherry and Gerald Grimes of Chickasha. She was "Mama-mia" to Brent and Amanda Grimes of Chickasha, and "Granny Meo" to Jason Harrison of Chickasha and Jennnifer Harrison of Oklahoma City. Her sister, Betty Brown McAdams of Chickasha. Sisters-in-law Lucille Brown of Chickasha and Gerteen Harrison of Marlow. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Special friends, Florence and Carl Dunn of Chickasha. Preceding her in death were: her husband Finis, her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Buster Butler, and her brother, Malcolm E. Brown. She was also preceded in death by her brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law: Orville and Agnes Harrison, Z. D. and Erleen Harrison, Rev. Elmer and Naomi Harper, Joe and Faye Harrison, Rev.
