The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Funeral for Juanita Hurley, 79, Alex, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 1989, in the Brown-Binyon Chapel with reverend Bill Peters officiating. She was born September 22, 1909, in Carter, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Richmond Merrell and Elizabeth Elliott Merrell. She died February 6, 1989, in Chickasha. She married Roy Dow Hurley on October 17, 1925, in Chickasha. Mrs. Hurley and her husband operated Hurley's Feed Mill in Chickasha until retirement in 1958 when they moved to Ninnekah. They moved to Alex from Ninnekah in 1965. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and three sisters; her husband, Roy, on November 8, 1987; one son, Donald Ray Hurley, on July 3, 1969; one great grandchild. Survivors include four sons, Roy and Emma Hurley of Salida, Colorado, Kenneth and Tommy Jo Hurley, Ninnekah, James and Ruby Hurley of Blanchard, and Keith and Joyce Hurley, Chickasha. One daughter, Toy and Wayne Owens of Piedmont, Oklahoma, two brothers, Cleburn Merrell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Lewis Merrell of Moore, Oklahoma, 20 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Interment will be in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Brown- Binyon Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
