Charles Saviers, pastor, and Rev. Mike Morgan, associate pastor, officiating. She was born June 8, 1909, in Cedardale, the daughter of Thomas H. Finley and Octavia Wagner Finley. She died Aug. 1, 1988 in Chickasha. She married Jesse Horn on May 6, 1934 in Enid. Mrs. Horn graduated from high school in Quinlan. She attended Oklahoma A & M College, graduating in 1932, first in her class in the College of Education. She taught high school and third grade in Oklahoma. Mrs. Horn came to Chickasha in November of 1941 from Frederick. From 1954 to 1957, Mrs. Horn went to Ethopia and during that time taught world history for Oklahoma State University. Mrs. Horn was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Wedding Ring Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and her husband, Jesse, on April 24, 1985. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Horn Bowyer of Hurst, Texas, Margaret Horn Cooper of Houston, Texas; two sons, John Thomas Horn and Donald H. Horn, both of Chickasha; and six grandchildren. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Binyon Funeral Home.
