Burial was in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home. Ikard was born 09-Oct-1906 in Grady county to Jess Edward and Ada Bell (Forsythe) Ikard. He lived in the Ninnekah and Alex area all his life where he farmed and raised cattle. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Army Air Force from 1942 until 1945. He served in the Guadalcanal and New Guinea, attaining the rank of corporal. Survivors include one brother, two half-brothers, one sister, one half-sister and seven nieces and nephews.
