Margaret Aitken Riley Jobe was born March 8, 1915, in Ayrshire, Scotland, the daughter of William R. and Elizabeth (Lyall) Aitken, and died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, in Chickasha. Margaret was the youngest of seven children. She arrived in America at the age of 16. She resided in Oakland, California, and worked as a nanny for the Levi family. She and Vernie E. Riley were married in 1941 in Oakland, California. They had one son, Vern T. Riley, in 1946. Vernie preceded her in death in 1970. She married Jack M. Jobe in 1974. They both retired and moved to Chickasha in 1982. Jack preceded her in death in 1997. Survivors include: 1 son and his wife, Vern T. and Joyce Marie Riley, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren: John T. Riley, of Hudson, Florida, Jason L. Hood, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Anthony L. and Teranie P. M. Riley, of Chickasha. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
