" WARREN JOSLIN Funeral services for Arthur "A. W. " Warren Joslin, 76, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Arthur Warren Joslin was born June 28, 1927, in Tabler, Okla., and died on Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, in Chickasha. Burial will be in Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, Okla., under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 26 November 2003 ARTHUR "A. W. " WARREN JOSLIN Funeral services for Arthur "A. W. " Warren Joslin, 76, of Chickasha, will be held Friday, November 28, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. A. W. Joslin was born June 28, 1927, in Tabler, Oklahoma, the son of Roy J. Joslin and Ruth Florence Bolander Joslin. He died Monday, November 24, 2003, in Chickasha. A. W. grew up in the Grady County area. After high school graduation he joined the U. S. Army where he served from 1946 till 1952. After being honorably discharged from the Army he attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He married Louise S. Spencer on October 10, 1959, in Clewiston, Florida. A. W. had previously owned and operated a service station in LaBelle, Florida, before returning to the Chickasha area in 1970. He had spent many of his years as an over the road truck driver and retired from Roadway in 1992. During his years trucking, he won many awards because of his safe driving records. He was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church, the American Legion, Teamsters Local 886 and a member of the Chickasha Democratic Party. A. W. was preceded in death by both parents, his wife, Louise, of thirty- five years and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sharon Thomas, of Chickasha; two granddaughters, Debbie Thomas, of Chickasha and Katrina Jones, of Elmore City; four great grandchildren Jessica Herrera, Nathan Jonathan and Misty Jones; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Jackie Joslin of Tuttle; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie Ruth and Jerry Cavin, of Modesto, California, Glenna and J. S. Whinery, of Oakdale, California; one sister-in-law Louise Joslin of Oakdale, California; one brother-in-law, Hoot Scott, of Chickasha and many nieces and nephews.
