JULIAN George R. Julian, 77, was born December 13, 1923, in Hollister, Wisconsin, to George W. Julian and Grace Lockman Julian. He entered into heaven Saturday, September 29, 2001. For the last 4 months of his life he had been in the care of the wonderful staff at Southwest Medical Center's Centris unit. The previous 1-1/2 months were at Norman Regional Hospital. During these 5-1/2 months, his loving wife Eureka never left his side. He lived much of his life in Colorado, having moved there when he was very young. He met Eureka Johnson Newlin when they both were working for Continental Airlines in Denver. They were married in Fort Collins, Colorado, on March 9, 1964. George was a chef for Continental Airlines for 20 years until he retired in 1982. During his employment with Continental Airlines they lived in Denver, Chicago, and Houston. They moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1982 after he retired. He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Julian and his mother, Grace Lockman Julian Falk; sisters, Lottie (Merge) Margaret Julian Johnston and Helen Louise Julian; brothers, Arthur Franklin Julian, Charles (Vince) Vincent Julian, Harry Edward Julian, Howard Murray Julian, and George's stillborn twin brother. Another brother, Walter Martin Julian, was last known to be in Big Springs, Texas. George is survived by his wife of 37 years, Eureka Julian; stepdaughter, Lynn Newlin Waldon and her husband, Robert Lee Waldon Jr.; grandson Michael Robert Waldon; granddaughter Lisa Ann (Waldon) Stonehocker and her husband, Daryl Stonehocker, all of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one sister, Dorothy Ellen Hickman of Tulare, California; brothers-in-law, Bill A. Johnson and J.B. Johnson; sisters-in-law, Jean Julian of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mildred Julian of Littleton, Colorado; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. George loved country music and playing guitars, especially the steel guitar. He enjoyed watching boxing on television. He was a wonderful chef and loved to cook for everyone. He was a terrific joke teller and prankster. He always had a fascinating story to tell about his life. He was an incredibly kind and generous man. Most of all, he loved all of us. We love and miss you George and will see you again.
