Persons or organizations desiring to use this material for purposes other than stated above must obtain the written consent of the file contributor. ====================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 21 February 2002 Ann James Funeral services for Ann James, 68, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday, February 21, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with John Edwards officiating, and Allen Colbert and James Anderson assisting. Ann Tsabinda Anderson James was born November 17, 1933, in Gerty, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edwin Anderson and Jean Leader Anderson. She died February 17, 2002, in Oklahoma City. After high school graduation Ann completed her L.P.N. degree in Ada, Oklahoma, where she met and married Clarence Sipes and then moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Twenty years later she moved to Chickasha where she obtained her BA at U.S.A.O. She continued her nursing career in the Chickasha area, where she was employed with several different nursing homes and was a private nurse for many terminally ill patients. She loved her work and was always ready to help someone in need. Ann was the third charted member of the Fellowship of American Indians in Chickasha. She was also a member of the Order Of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Mary Quinn Anderson. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Sue and Robert Pirrelee; grandchildren, Jack, Alex, and Sarah, all of Lawrence, Kansas; one son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Sylvia Sipes; grandchildren, Interment will be in the Moncrief Cemetery in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ======================================================================
