Daniel Loyd Jones was born March 23, 1909, and died on Wednesday, April 10, 2002. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. =========================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 April 2002 DANIEL "LOYD" JONES Graveside service for Daniel "Loyd" Jones, 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the Ninnekah Cemetery. Daniel "Loyd" Jones was born March 23, 1909. in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, the son of Daniel Bruce and Dora May (Delozier) Jones, and died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mr. Jones lived in this area all of his life. He worked for Chickasha Mobile Homes. Mr. Jones also worked in the oil field and was a farmer. He and Gladys were married July 23, 1929. She preceded him in death March 27, 1993. Mr. Jones was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson, Daniel Sterlin. Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives: Charles and Edna Jones, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Garry and Glenda Jones, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; 1 daughter and her husband, Sharon and Gary Clark, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; 4 grandsons and 6 granddaughters; and many great and great great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
