Zelta Fatheree James was born Nov. 30. 1909, and died on Tuesday,. Nov. 5, 2002. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 5 November 2002 ZELTA FATHEREE JAMES Funeral service for Zelta Fatheree James, 92, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Zelta Fatheree James was born November 30, 1909, in Missouri, and died November 5, 2002, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mrs. James lived in the Chickasha area most of her life. She and Charles Hack Fatheree were married, and he preceded her in death. She later married Mel James, and he also preceded her in death. Mrs. James worked as a seamstress at her home and with Hicks Department Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. James was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Pearl Dene Fatheree Calhoun. Survivors include: grandson: Duane Calhoun of Edmond Oklahoma; 3 great grandchildren: Amy Lewis, Aubrey Mills, Ashley Calhoun, and their mother, Nancy Enright; 3 great, great grandchildren: Brendon Pye, Whitney Pye and Jayden Mills. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
