O. Jones, who was only sick a few days, died at her home Tuesday, May 24th. Mr. and Mrs. Jones have lived here about three years, they formerly operated a cleaning and pressing establishment here , but since discontinuing same, Alma Jones has been eclipsed with the [?]. The deceased was born in Mississippi, May 12, 1892, and came with her parents to Indian Territory in 1900. She was married to W. O. Jones, August 22, 1910; to this union were born six girls, all are living, the baby born only a few days ago. Mrs. Jones united with the Christian church at the age of 18 at Claita, Oklahoma, where her membership still remains. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 8:00 p. m. with Rev. Taylor, pastor of the Baptist church, in charge of the services. The remains were laid to rest in the Verden cemetery. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband, 6 children, mother, 2 brothers and one sister, beside a host of friends. Submitted by Sandi Carter
