All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Rush Springs Gazette July 25, 1957 Funeral Held for Mrs. Bettie Mae Jones Funeral Services for Mrs. Bettie Mae Jones, 66 were held Wednesday afternoon in the Church of Christ with J.W. Andrews in charge. Mrs. Jones died July 20 in a Chickasha hospital after an extended illness. Pallbearers were: Hershel Wilburn, Elton Teel, Spencer Bernard, Carson Milsap, Don Jacobs and Elbert Cast. Special songs by a church group were: "Will the Circle be Unbroken', "Precious Memories", "The Old Rugged Cross", and "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be." Bettie Mae Jones was born in Corsicana, Texas. She moved with her family to Rush Springs in 1902 and was married to William A. Jones, January 23, 1910. She was a member of the Church of Christ which she joined in 1910 and the Rebekah Lodge. She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Stella Coffee, south of Rush Springs and one son Arthur W. Jones, Oklahoma City. Two sisters, Mrs. Willie Richardson and Mrs. Jenise Burns, both of Rush Springs. Other survivors are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
