Albert Sidney Johnson

Funeral service for Albert Sidney Johnson, 71, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be 
held at 1100 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at the Grand Assembly of God 
Church.

Albert Sidney Johnson was born August 31, 1928, in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, the 
son of Eb Melvin and Hettie (Garrison) Johnson and died Sunday, August 13, 
2000, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years then retired. He 
returned to Chickasha from Arkansas in 1977. He later worked for Maremount 
and retired in 1991.

He and Goldie Sutton were married December 16, 1977, in Texas.

Mr. Johnson was a member of the Grand Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by parents; 1 brother James Elton Johnson.

Survivors include wife Goldie Johnson of the home; 2 sons Jimmie Sutton of 
the home Roy Sutton and wife, Bessie, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 5 brothers and 
their wives Lucian and Nancy Johnson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Milton and 
Wanda Johnson of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Wayne and Betty Johnson of Alex, 
Oklahoma, Weldon and Mary Johnson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Harvey and Carolyn 
Johnson of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 1 sister and her husband Alta and Leon Hill 
of Chickasha, Oklahoma; grandchildren Joseph, Jennifer, Ray and Cody; great 
grandchildren Elixa, Savanna and Scarlet; several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier 
Funeral Home.
