Anna Dee Johnson was born Dec. 16, 1933, and died on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002. Interment will be in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star no date ANNA DEE JOHNSON Funeral service for Anna Dee Johnson, 68, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Anna Dee Johnson was born December 16, 1933, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert Dee and Susie Bell (Talley) Lang, and died December 11, 2002, at her home in Ninnekah following a long illness. Anna Dee graduated from Chickasha High School in 1952. She worked at Pet Milk for a number of years. She met James "Pappy" Johnson while working at Pet Milk, and they married January 11, 1967, in Ryan, Oklahoma. She was a housewife for about 8 years, and then went to work for Maremont, retiring after 22 years. Her greatest joy was her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and taking vacations in Colorado. Anna Dee was preceded in death by: Husband, James "Pappy" Johnson, mother, Susie Bell (Talley) Lang, father, Albert Dee Lang. Survivors include: 1 daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jane Johnson Slaton and Dewayne Slaton, of the home; 1 grandson, Brett Slaton of the home; 1 granddaughter, Hannah Slaton of the home; 1 sister, Martha Jane Wetzel, of Duncan, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews: Susan and Danny Foster of Marlow, Oklahoma, JaNelle and Dave Barrons of Arlington, Texas, LouAnn and Carl McKelvain of Tulsa, Oklahoma; host of great nieces and great nephews.
