JOHNSON Funeral services for Bill J. Johnson, 74, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at Bible Baptist Church. Bill J. Johnson was born November 21, 1927, in Chickasha, Oklahoma the son of Ira and Elsie Johnson. He died Sunday, August 11, 2002 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He lived in Chickasha all of his life, and owned and operated Johnson Wreckers for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Chickasha Antique Auto Club & National Antique Auto Club of America and the Wrecker Owners Association. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: his wife Lynette Johnson, of the home; son Jimmy Johnson and wife Leslie, of Chickasha; daughter Lindy J. Beck of Chickasha. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Bible Baptist Church New Church Building Fund or the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation Cancer Research Foundation. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
