Johnson was born June 14, 1931, in Anadarko. He died December 24, 2002, at his home in Grove, Oklahoma. Carol attended school at Cyril. He operated his oil well service company in Woodward and then ran a cattle operation in Grove. He married Juanita Lair in 1951 in Chickasha. He is survived by his wife; one son, Robert; 3 daughters: Carla Parker of Edmond, Pauls of Houston and Debbie of the home; 3 grandchildren: Adam, Amanda and Alexia Parker; one sister, Dorothy Cotton of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two brothers: June Johnson of Lawton and Walter Johnson of Oklahoma City. He is preceded in death by his parents, L. J. and Delia Johnson; 3 brothers: Q. B. Johnson of Oklahoma City, Aggert Gallaway of Blanchard and Leon Gallaway of Anadarko. Interment will be in Olympic Cemetery, Grove, under the direction of Ellis Family Funeral Home.
