JOHNSON, SR. Funeral services for Lucian M. Johnson, Sr. are pending with the Sevier Funeral Home. Johnson was born April 2, 1920 and died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005. ========= The Chickasha Express-Star Tuesday, 27 September 2005 LUCIAN M. JOHNSON Graveside service for Lucian M. Johnson, 85, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the Ninnekah Cemetery. Lucian M. Johnson was born April 2, 1920 in McMillan, Oklahoma, the son of Ebb Melvin and Hettie Bell (Garrison) Johnson and died September 25, 2005 in Chickasha. He and Nancy Bennett were married December 23, 1946. Lucian served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II serving in Burma, India and China. He was discharged as a Staff Sgt. for the military police. He moved to Ninnekah in 1966 and moved to Chickasha in 1993. Lucian worked for Texaco for 33 years. He worked as a shooter and later worked in the office. He worked at Bellaire, Texas and retired from the Tulsa office in 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Sidney Johnson and James Elton "Pappy" Johnson. Survivors include: Wife: Nancy Bennett Johnson of the home; two sons: Lucian M. Johnson, Jr. and wife, Angie of Blanchard; Craig Johnson of Ninnekah; three daughters: Carolyn Tedder of Chickasha; Lucinda "Cindy" Cowan of Longview, Texas; Linda Morris of Austin, Texas; four brothers: Harvey Johnson of Chickasha; Weldon Johnson of Chickasha; Wayne Johnson of Ninnekah; Melton Johnson of Rush Springs; one sister: Alta Hill of Chickasha; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
