J. B. Johnson

Graveside service for J. B. Johnson, 81, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be 
held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Fairlawn Cemetery, 
Chickasha.

J. B. Johnson was born May 28, 1924 in Elmore City, Oklahoma the son of 
Jim and Mary [Lemons] Johnson and died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in 
Chickasha.

Mr. Johnson grew up in Chickasha. He worked for Dow Oil in Kansas and 
later worked for Dow Chemical.

He moved to Edmond in 1979 and back to Chickasha in 1995.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by: wife: Mary Elmira Johnson June 20, 2004, two 
brothers: Verdie Johnson and Billy Johnson.

Survivors include: two daughters: Donna McCoy and husband Grant of Edmond; 
Jenny Firestone and husband Steve of Houston, Texas; two sons: Jay Johnson 
of Oklahoma City; Jimmy Johnson of Houston, Texas; one sister: Eureka 
Julian of Chickasha; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier 
Funeral Home.
