All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Fairlawn Cemetery--Chickasha OK © The Chickasha Express-Star 22 Dec 2003 Curtis Wayne Keef Funeral services for Curtis Wayne Keef, 65, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor John Freeman officiating. Curtis Wayne Keef was born November 11, 1938, in Amber, Oklahoma, the son of James Curtis Keef and Willie Elender Whitehead Keef. He died December 20, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wayne grew up in the Amber area, attending Amber and Pocasset schools. Wayne married Betty Cox on July 2, 1959 in Gainesville, Texas, and to this union their three children Tim, Dennis and Natalie were born. Wayne was a professional spray painter, and through his career he painted for several horse trailer companies including Stidhams, Linville, Jackson and Circle H, American Body and Trailer in Oklahoma City, and lastly with Cimmaron Aircraft in Union City, retiring from there. Wayne was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pocasset and had been president, vice president, secretary and chaplain of the Eagles Lodge 4070. He also enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by both parents. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Debbie Keef of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Dennis and Melissa Keef of Chickasha; one daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Mike Bowman of Chickasha; his companion Delphenia Joyce of Chickasha; three sisters and brothers- in-law: Elsie and Kenneth Estes of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Darlene Weaver of Chickasha and Shirley and Floyd McDaniels of Ardmore, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
