KEIL Graveside services for Carol H. Keil, 64, of Verden, will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in the Verden Cemetery. Carol was born on October 7, 1938, in Aitkin, Minnesota, the daughter of Paul and Helen Phegley. She died from a respiratory disorder on May 2, 2003. Carol spent most of her childhood on a farm in Aitkin. She married Glen L. Keil of Aitkin, and they moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma, in 1969, where they lived and reared four daughters. In the 1980s Carol and Glen retired to Verden. Carol enjoyed cooking, being with her grandchildren, and was a devoted mother who lived for her family. She was preceded in death by both parents her husband, her daughter, Kellie Keil, and grandson, Jeff Jacobs. Survivors include two brothers: Pat Phegley of Cement and Jay Phegley of Verden; three daughters and sons-in-law: Julie and Tim Jacobs of Verden, Connie and George McIntosh of Nebraska, Vicki Keil of Verden; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
