Kelsey Deborah L. Kelsey, 53, of Gridley died Dec. 9, 2006, at Enloe Medical Center in Chico. Born in Chickasha, Okla., she was a Mid-Valley resident for 42 years. She worked at Casa Lupe Restaurant for 22 years and was a member of Thermalito Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jim Kelsey of Gridley; two daughters, Nicole Pannell of Gridley and Patti Ransdel of Roseville; two sons, John Atnip of El Paso, Texas, and Paul Kelsey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her mother, Inez Thompson of Gridley; three sisters, Donna Fassler and Pat Shackleford, both of Gridley, and Barbara Wilson of Oroville; a brother, General Junior Smith of Davis, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Thompson. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services: A memorial service is scheduled at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, 100 Vermont St., Gridley. Pastor Jerry Pinkley of Thermalito Baptist Church will officiate.
