He apparently had been enjoying good health, up until a few hours of his death. Mr. Kilgore came to this section of the country with his father, the late W. S. Kilgore, at one time county treasurer, from Denton, Texas in 1900, Georgia being his native state. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jack Cox of Gracemont, after which the interment was made in the Verden Cemetery. He is survived by a widow and 6 children, 6 brothers, 8 sisters and his aged mother. Submitted by Sandi Carter
