The funeral services were held here at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the local pastor, Rev. LeRoy Simmons, officiating. The choir composed of a woman's quartet, Mesdames Adkisson, Whitlely, Caldwell and MaGuire, sang "In The Garden," "It is Well with My Soul" and "Face to Face," accompanied by Mrs. Simmons. Surviving members are her husband and 4 small children and her mother, Mrs. Emmons. Interment was made in the Verden cemetery. Submitted by Sandi Carter
