Brian Maynor officiating. Leva Irene King died Friday, August 9, 2002, in the Kindred Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Leva Irene was born June 4, 1919, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to John Stephens and Pearl Grow Stephens. She married T. J. King in Decatur, Texas, and the couple has made their home in the Chickasha area. She retired in 1980 from TG&Y, where she worked as a supervisor. Her hobbies included having and attending garage sales. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 6 sisters, and one son, Ronnie King, who died in 1985. Survivors include her husband T. J. of the home; two daughters: Sue Howard and her husband Steve, of Ninnekah, OK, Marsha Gardner and her husband Curtis, of Fort Worth, TX; two sons: Rodney King and his wife Hope, of Chickasha, OK, Alan King and his wife Gail, of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers: Luther Stephens of Roswell, NM, Ode Edwards of Tecumseh, OK; two sisters: Bessie Cotton of Chickasha, OK, Bernice McIntosh of Fresno, CA; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
