KING Funeral services for David W. King, 36, of Chickasha, Okla., are pending with McRay Funeral Home. David W. King was born Sept. 23, 1966, and died on Sunday, April 6, 2003. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 8 April 2003 DAVID W. KING Funeral service for David W. King, age 36, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at the Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Kim Hayes officiating. David W. King was born the son of Mark King and Brenda Waits King on September 23, 1966, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He died on Sunday, April 6, 2003, at his home in Chickasha. He married Tammy Stevens on July 1, 1983, in Chickasha. David grew up in the Chickasha area and attended Ninnekah High School. After high school, he attended Platt College in Oklahoma City for one year. While attending Platt College he was named top student of the year. He worked for the Department of Corrections in Lexington for several years. David also wo rked as a service technician at Standridge Equipment in diesel mechanics for six years. While at Standridge Equipment, he received training certificates and awards in diesel mechanics. David was a devoted dad and husband. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include: wife: Tammy King of Chickasha; sons: Chad and Trevor King of Chickasha; mother: Brenda King of Chickasha; father: Mark King of Cherokee; sister: Dawn Seyedoff of Oklahoma City; paternal grandmother: Audrey King of Edmond; numerous other loving family and friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
