Margaret Kennedy was born September 27, 1912 in Amber, Oklahoma the daughter of James Lonzo and Etta Payne (Cox) Ferrell and died Saturday, September 30, 2000 in Chickasha. She was a life long resident of Amber, Oklahoma. Margaret married Ted Kennedy on December 23, 1931 in Amber, Oklahoma he preceded her in death on March 31, 1975. She was employed by the Amber School system for 13 years and the Grady Memorial Hospital for 19 years as a dietitian. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by: parents: James and Etta Ferrell; stepfather: Frank Cox; 3 brothers: Howard and Frank Ferrell Jack Cox; 1 granddaughter: Tammy Kennedy; 1 grandson: Gerald Kennedy; 1 great grandson: Blake Kennedy. She is survived by: 4 sons: Verl Kennedy and wife Margaret of Amber, OK, Jerry Kennedy and wife Vickie of Amber, OK, Wesley Kennedy and wife Sharan of Amber, OK, Lonnie Kennedy of Amber, OK; 2 daughters: Peggy Milburn and husband Charles of Lee’s Summit, MO, Betty Beam of Tuttle; 2 sisters: Ruth Ross of Union City, OK, Yvonne Moore of Norman, OK; 1 brother: Chester Ferrell of Globe, AR; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Interment will be in Amber Cemetery, Amber, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. The family requests that donations may be made to the Amber Cemetery Fund, P.O.
