All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Duncan City Cemetery--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 1 Jul 2002 Dorothy May Keenan, 60, of Duncan went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home on Friday, June 28, 2002, after an extended illness. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Martin and Max Boothby officiating. Interment will be in Duncan Cemetery. Dorothy was born May 12, 1942, at Rush Springs, the daughter of Barry Allen and Fredia Richardson McCafferty. She graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1960, and soon after, came to Duncan where she worked as the assistant manager of White's Home and Auto Store. She and Ray Keenan were married on Sept. 28, 1984, in Wichita Falls. Mrs. Keenan was a member of the Cotton Hills Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Ray, of the home; her mother, Fredia McCafferty of Rush Springs; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Pamela and Craig Peck, Dana and Brett Jackson, and Teresa Sewell, all of Duncan; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Pannell of Duncan; a stepson, Michael Keenan of Duncan; a brother and sister-in-law, Rudy and Karen McCafferty of Rush Springs; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty and Jack Stringfellow of Rush Springs and Edith Nalley of Duncan; her mother-in-law, Cordie Keenan of Duncan; five grandchildren, Chrisy Hare, Michael Sewell, Samantha Fish, Bubba Fish and Allie Jackson; a longtime special friend, Lawanda Thornton; and several nieces, nephews and other friends. Bearers will be L.D. Keenan, Harold Fish Jr., Tony Keenan, Tom Lacy, James Keenan and Shawn Bass. Memorial contributions may be made to Chisholm Trail Hospice, P.O.
