H. Kemmerley Surname: Kemmerley July 1938 Funeral services for J.H. Kemmerley were conducted at the Baptist Church by Rev. J. W. Barker Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. He was laid to rest with military honors by members of the Julian Pierson Post of the American Legion of Minco. Mr. Kemmerley was 93 years old, and was a pioneer citizen of Minco, having moved here in February, 1901. He had been ill, but not serious, since the first of the year. He was a Civil War veteran. He passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. Bates in Minco, Saturday morning at 5:00 o'clock. He is survived by four children, two sons, L.F. Kemmerley of Dawson, Okla., H. C. Kemmerley of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Cassingham of Oak Creek, Colo., and Mrs. E. Bates of Minco; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Burial was made in the Evergreen Cemetery at Minco.
